Dental Implants Robina

Have you been looking for a solution to replace a single tooth, or even all your teeth?

If you have been considering dental implants, then our dental practice Robina Quays Dental Care is your one stop smile solution.

Robina Quays Dental Care houses Taylor Dental Implants & Aesthetics.  We provide premium dental implant solutions at affordable pricing to suit each of our patients’ needs and budget.

We are your one stop solution as we have leading dental technologies and facilities onsite. From start to end, which also includes your Cone Beam CT imaging, your treatment will be done onsite.  This means you do not have to go back and forth to different places for the different stages of your dental implant treatment.

You will also be happy to know we have gone green with our dental technologies where possible.  For instance, Robina Quays Dental Care is not just the first in Australia but the first in the world to have installed the world’s first Vatech Green 16 Cone Beam CT with an Insight Pan function. This technology yields highly precise imaging resolutions with very low radiation to our patients.

So, whether you have one or more missing teeth, you may wish to consider dental implants.

Dental implants are advanced solutions since they provide fixed solutions to your missing teeth. Generally, dental implants are regarded as a game changer in the industry.

Of course, nothing can replace what nature has provided you in terms of your teeth.  However, time and other factors like accidents can adversely impact on anyone’s teeth. As such, dental implants can be a great option for suitable candidates to consider.  They approximate the natural look and feel of your teeth and most significantly can help restore the functions of your natural teeth.

By approximating the benefits of natural teeth, all our dental implant treatments aim to ensure optimal comfort and appearance for our patients.

Hence our practice tagline – Naturally Beautiful Smiles.

What is a Dental Implant?

For ease of understanding, think of a dental implant as an artificial structure that resembles your tooth.

It is composed of 3 parts.  The top is the crown, custom designed to replicate your natural tooth. The bottom which is the implant itself is a titanium screw. This is drilled down into your jawbone. This metal post acts like your tooth root to stabilize the crown once it is ready to be placed.

The crown at the top and the screw at the bottom are held together with the middle portion referred to as an abutment. You can think of this abutment as a connector that attaches the implant to the crown.

Each part of your implant and importantly the technique used to place the implant are vital in helping to restore your bite and smile.

Dental Implant Process

Our highly qualified and experienced lead dental surgeon Dr Mark Taylor will place the titanium screw into your jawbone replacing your natural tooth root.  With time your bone will grow to hold the implant in place.  This process is referred to as “Osteointegration”.

There are a host of implant systems in the world.  Our dental implants are composed of premium grade titanium. Why? This is to ensure the implant is compatible with your jawbone i.e. it is biocompatible.

This means over time this titanium implant placed in your jawbone will slowly integrate into your bone and give stability to it.

Once stable, your crown will be attached to your implant.  To ensure the quality and aesthetics of the crown, we only use Australian labs based locally on the Gold Coast.

Tailored Dental Services

Doctor Mark Taylor has a special focus on dental implants.

Robina Quays Dental Care houses Taylor Dental Implants and Aesthetics.

Each patient’s anatomy, medical history and circumstances are different.  So, from the start to the end, our dental implant treatment is customized to suit you given your medical history, individual circumstances, lifestyle and needs.

At the outset Dr Mark Taylor provides you a free dental implant consult to discuss your specific dental implant need and suitability. You will have the opportunity to ask your questions to discuss the ins and outs of your treatment.

If dental implants are not a suitable option for you Dr Taylor will discuss other viable options.  At times, where suitable, Dr Taylor also advocates that the patient saves his or her existing tooth rather than replace it.

We recommend you take advantage of our free initial dental implant consult session. Depending on the patient’s questions, the consult session often turns out to be a highly educational session! We encourage you to do some research prior to your consult session.  Our patients report they receive real value out of their dental implant consult sessions with Dr Taylor as he is very knowledgeable and goes that extra mile to educate his patients.

That is why at Robina Quays Dental Care we regard your initial free dental implant consultation with our lead dental surgeon Dr Mark Taylor as an important part of your treatment process.

Please note that currently our free initial consult offer is limited to our dental implant treatment and some dental aesthetic solutions only.

Tooth Replacement Solutions

Whatever your concern, our team at Robina Quays Dental Care can help.

We provide the full range of dental implant services including:

  • Single tooth replacements
  • Immediate tooth replacements
  • Overdentures (implant supported dentures)
  • All Teeth on 4, 5 or 6 implants & full mouth reconstruction

Single tooth replacements

If your missing tooth is not noticeable, it can be tempting to let the issue slide. However, this can lead to a distorted bite, bone deterioration and strain on your muscles, possibly leading to a host of related health issues.

With a crown supported by a dental implant, we can provide long-lasting restoration of your missing tooth without impacting on your remaining ones.

Our dental implant procedures use advanced imaging techniques to identify the correct size and type of implant required before Dr Taylor commences his precise placement of your single tooth implant in the gap.

Immediate tooth replacements

We understand that some treatments are a matter of emergencies particularly due to decay or oral trauma. Even if you do not suffer from an emergency, we understand you may have a personal timeframe that you are working towards. If you have an urgency for a solution for your missing teeth, then immediate dental implant treatment may be a viable option for you.

This treatment is referred to by some as Same Day Dental Implants or Teeth in a Day. If you are a suitable candidate, you will benefit from less wait time, stable restoration and a cost-effective dental procedure that offers a relatively immediate fix. You can have fixed tooth or even entire upper or lower set of teeth in just days with the completion of your surgery.

Be it immediate replacement of a single, multiple, or even full mouth restoration, Dr Taylor can help you navigate the minefield to help you find an optimized solution.  All teeth on 4, 5 or 6 dental implants have their respective benefits for suitable patients needing a full mouth restoration treatment.

There are several benefits to this treatment which include minimizing risk of bone deterioration or tooth movements especially with our state-of-the-art technologies.

Please discuss your timeframes with Dr Taylor to discover if immediate tooth replacement can be an option for you at your free initial dental implant consultation.

Overdentures

If you’re experiencing any discomfort with your traditional denture, we can offer you a stabilised solution to alleviate your problem.

This solution may involve implant supported over-dentures or bridges. If your dentures are wobbly or uncomfortable due to movement, the implants can help hold your denture or bridge firmly in place. You will be able to remove and clean your denture or bridge as you wish.

Even if these options do not suit you, Dr Taylor can suggest other customized solutions that will suit your case and budget.

Your consultation will identify an optimised treatment to best meet your individual need, circumstance, and finances. However, please note that our free consults are limited to dental implants, veneers and Invisalign treatments only.

We invite you to take your first step and book a free consultation with Dr Mark Taylor.

We truly hope to see you smile each step of the way towards your dental wellbeing.  It will be our honour to help facilitate that special journey for you. Take care and whatever you decide, we wish you all the very best!
