Meet Dr Mark Taylor! Dr Mark Taylor is a trailblazer in Australian dentistry, having been one of the first ten dentists in the country to complete the pioneering Clinical Dental Implant Masters programme at Griffith University’s School of Oral Health, Gold Coast. This comprehensive program, spanning two years, covered both surgical and restorative facets of implant treatments, culminating in Dr Taylor achieving a Masters in Clinical Dental Implants.
Dr Taylor embarked on his dental career in 1990, graduating from the esteemed Royal London Medical and Dental Hospital, University of London, U.K. His dedication to excellence continued the following year in 1991, earning the “Vocational Training Award” at the Charing Cross Hospital postgraduate centre, London, U.K.
Dr Taylor’s Journey to Robina Quays Dental Care In 1997, Dr Taylor, alongside his wife, chose Australia as their new home, settling on the Gold Coast. He quickly became a principal dentist at a leading Southport practice, a position he held for approximately 17 years before selling to a corporate group. Embracing the opportunity to deliver care on his terms, Dr Taylor now practices independently at Robina Quays Dental Care, a decision that allows him to focus on providing the highest standard of care and treatment to his patients.
Together with his wife, Dr Taylor has meticulously designed our beautiful, state-of-the-art three-surgery practice at Robina Quays Dental Care, incorporating advanced dental technology for optimal patient care.

Dr Mark Taylor’s special area of focus is placing dental implants. He has been providing the full range of restoring and placing dental implant treatments and aesthetic solutions for over 25 years, here on the Gold Coast and London. Whether it is a single tooth implant or a full mouth restoration with All teeth on 4 or 6 implants, Dr Taylor personally treats each patient according to their medical and personal needs. His genuinely caring approach helps foster long term bonds with his patients.

Introducing Dr Remon Mekaeil Dr Remon Mekaeil stands out as a distinguished dentist, boasting over 25 years of extensive experience in all facets of general dentistry. Renowned for his genuine compassion and dedication, Dr Remon is consistently praised by his loyal patients as both an exceptional human being and an outstanding dentist.
Since 2000, Dr Remon has made significant contributions to both the public and private health sectors in Australia. His influential role as the Director of Oral Health on the Gold Coast is particularly notable, where he was instrumental in developing and implementing strategies to uphold and educate the public on high standards of oral health in the region.
Dr Remon has also achieved a Master’s degree from the University of Queensland in 1996, with a focus on Bruxism and Paediatric Dentistry. His pursuit of excellence also led him to successfully gain an Honours degree in Dental Science from the University of Sydney in 1999.
In 2006, Dr Remon transitioned to private practice, allowing him greater freedom to refine his skills in areas of his personal interest, including the restoration of dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and especially taking care of children’s dental needs.
Joining Robina Quays Dental Care was a natural step for Dr Remon, aligning with his commitment to providing top-quality dental care. Our boutique practice environment enables him to offer the exceptional care he is known for to his valued patients.
